Introduction
Pour faire les superbes photos d’oiseaux que l’on voit dans les revues, les pros utilisent essentiellement des boîtiers reflex munis d’un téléobjectif. Mais le prix de leur matériel est souvent très élevé, et leur encombrement est important. Il existe toutefois des alternatives : la digiscopie, qui consiste à associer un appareil compact et une longue-vue (avec son oculaire), et la « reflexoscopie« , où l’on associe un reflex (sans objectif) et le corps d’une longue-vue terrestre ou astronomique (sans son oculaire) via une bague et un adaptateur.

Digiscoping is the process of taking photos with a digital camera, either still or video, through a spotting scope. Digital compact are more commonly used, but it is also possible to combine a Digital SLR (single lens reflex) camera with a spotting-scope.
But due to the different technology of an SLR camera compared to that of a digital compact camera, a different approach is required when digiscoping.
